We’re very pleased to welcome back the man who originally defined breakbeat in Vancouver. His previous 3 hour 45rpm-only sets at Friday Night Fever have been nothing short of amazing!
All the way back to 1991, from his Zoo Boogaloo night at the Starfish Room , Cherry Bombs at Sonar during the latter half of the 1990s, the Big Sexy Funk night at Shine, the infamous Soul Kitchen with DJ Czech at Tommy Africa’s in Whistler and headline sets at Shambhala since 2000, Scotty’s been spinning records and finding that combination of different sounds that all revolve around one thing: Funk.
