Friday, June 25th – Craig Mullin (Nelson, BC), The Stunt Man and Madlove are gonna be Funk Drunk!

After being introduced to disco in the early 1970’s by his parents Craig was hooked on music, and has been collecting it ever since buying his first record in ‘82. Played his first club in ‘88 as well as hosting a late-night radio show, co-founded his own Booking Agency in ‘99 a Record Label in ‘00 and has been consistently rocking events for the last 20 years. He’s been blessed to have shared his passion for music with people in 5 continents at well over a thousand gatherings…

With over 18 years experience as a dj,promoter and radio personality Dr.J has built a solid reputation in the DJ industry, both nationally and internationally. Through his extensive knowledge of music and passion for his craft he has established himself as one of Canada’s premier disc jockeys. In addition to his numerous local and national residencies Dr.J produces and hosts the “Expansions” radio show on CFCR – a program devoted to funk, disco and hip hop music.

THE PREMISE: “45 FLAVOURS” will be an ALL VINYL tour featuring Dr.J spinning the best in funk,boogie,disco,reggae and rap nuggets all on 7″ single (those little records mom and dad used to play). The real deal – no computers, CDs or ipods. Funk the way it was meant to be heard!

FNF got seriously schooled last week. Vinyl Ritchie again played an incredible 2.5 hour, 45rpm-only set to a packed out Bunker of very happy, very sweaty people (the Hotel’s AC’s is fully working now, btw). if you weren’t there, you missed out but at least we archived it for you. if you were there you just know you wanna hear that sweet music again and again!
